Starting from exhibitions, discussions, to networking sessions,

The Tourism Director for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Masruroh, said there were a number of countries that had the most attendance for this event. "We have five countries with the largest presence, (namely) India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the UK, and Nigeria," said Masruroh. To note, previous congresses have been held in a number of countries, including Thailand, Greece, Italy, and Mexico.

It is hoped that it can revive the marriage industry which had slumped

Masruroh hopes that this event can revive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions), especially the industry related to the wedding sector, which has been in decline for the past two years. "Vendors, workers in the creative economy related to weddings, be it florists (florists) or wedding organizers (wedding organizers) in the regions, do not have the opportunity to work. So now we are resurrecting it with the DWP Annual Congress, "he said. He also emphasized that the impact of this event will be felt by the wedding industry as a whole in Indonesia. "So what we brought were 35 speakers from 15 countries who attended. We will optimize it by inviting Indonesian wedding organizers and vendors, both from Bali and other cities, to meet to establish networking , "he explained.

Similarly, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno also hopes that this event can stimulate the local economy, including service providers related to marriage.

"There is a lot of potential and because it has been a long wait, two years,
the goal of this congress is to increase trust in MICE again and we are ready to hold MICE," he explained. Not only that, according to him, this event is also important in marketing
Bali and other destinations as luxury destinations , as well as opening opportunities for investment cooperation and multiplier effects related to weddings.
"I entrust the perpetrators of weddings (weddings) to whose SMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) can be involved," he said.
